The 2024 World Poetry day theme "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants” gives prominence to honoring the poetic works of the brilliant poets who have defined the pivotal role of poetry for the generations of the present and the future. Their works are proof of the boundless power of poetry to fuel revolutionary change, to preserve human history and most of all, to serve as a reminder that at our core, humans are more alike than we are different.
